Institute of Dialogue, Development & Diplomatic Studies

One effect of sustained conflict is to narrow our vision of what is possible. Time and time again, conflicts are resolved through shifts that were unimaginable at the start.

About us

The Institute of Dialogue, Development and Diplomatic Studies (IDDDS) is a non-partisan, non-aligned, non-profit, and non-political academic and research entity dedicated to providing well-planned insights and research-based policy solutions to assist decision-makers at the national, regional, and international levels. Our mission is to chart a course towards resolving the most vital issue of Kashmir—the oldest dispute on the UNSC agenda, carrying the grave risk of a nuclear conflict between India and Pakistan.
The Institute also serves as a platform for informed discussion and constructive dialogue on issues of significant national and international importance.

Kashmir Gazette

We produce a weekly Kashmir Gazette that delivers in-depth coverage of developments at the international and national levels, with a dedicated focus on events and issues from Srinagar and Muzaffarabad. Each edition includes verified news reports, analytical articles, and expert opinions from diverse scholars and practitioners. These contributors share their policy analyses, research-based insights, and practical recommendations aimed at addressing the complex realities of the Kashmir conflict. By combining factual reporting with thoughtful analysis, the Gazette serves as a reliable platform for informed debate, fostering awareness and encouraging constructive solutions for peace and stability in the region.

Institute of Multi-Track Dialogue, Development & Diplomatic Studies

The alternative to chaos in international relations—and in the global mind itself—is a world order governed by rules and principles. The strength and legitimacy of these rules are measured by their ability to play a decisive role in resolving international disputes.
The Kashmir dispute embodies the fundamental principles essential for global stability, chief among them:
The sanctity of international agreements.
The right to self-determination.

The principles and instruments invoked by Kashmiris to address historical injustices were not born of religious ideology alone. They are rooted in the same values enshrined in the UN Charter—principles designed to uphold a peaceful and equitable world order. The documents Kashmiris rely upon were not drafted in places of worship; they were forged in the halls of the United Nations Security Council, penned by Western hands.
World powers possess neither the right nor the moral authority to unilaterally dictate the final disposition of Kashmir. Their obligation is clear: to deliberate and recommend a just solution that aligns with international law and the will of the people.
